Educational Tour And Field Work As per rules of Vidyasagar University, Anthropology, Zoology, Botany, Bengali and Geography Department are required to take their students on educational tours / field works related to academic projects in their respective areas. Students studying these subjects at the General and Honours level are required to participate in these programmes and at least one faculty member is compulsorily required to accompany them. The place of field work is decided by the respective department and the expenditure of these is borne partly by the students and partly by the college.

Extra Curricular Activities The students of the college participate in different extra-curricular activities. This provides an opportunity to unfold their multifarious talents in diverse fields. The college arranges Annual Sports and Cultural Competitions among the students under the supervision of the teachers. The students also celebrate important days in the history of the college and the nation. The students also participate in Inter-college sports meet every year.

College Magazine Teachers and students are enthusiastic about creative writing. This results with the Publication of the College Magazine ‘Darpan’ and the Wall Magazine ‘Megh Sariye’ by the Students’ Union under the supervision of the teachers every year. Wall Magazine are also published by different Departments. Students are the principal contributors of the Magazine.

NSS Units There are three NSS units in the college. The Units undertakes to render various types of educational, social and medical support to the common people with the help of the Programme Officers, Teachers and Students. The institution has regular contact with the common people through NSS teams. The college campus has beautiful and attractive garden which is maintained by our NSS volunteers throughout the year.

Canteen The college has well furnished canteen located over the college lake inside the premises. The canteen has provided services to the teachers as well as the students’ communities of the college.
